"Because you’re cooler than a clicker."
Welcome to DGW_Mouse, the software that turns your hand into a magic wand for presentations. No buttons, no wires, no awkward fumbling with remotes. Just you, your webcam, and your natural ability to point at stuff like a boss.
Let’s break it down, the fun way 👇
🎭 You’ve Got Two Modes
1. 🎤 Presentation Mode
Use it to cruise through your slides like you own the stage (because you do).
Think of it as your trusty "next/previous slide" mode.
2. 🔦 Highlight Mode
Activate your inner Jedi with a virtual laser pointer and the power to draw pixel-perfect rectangles around things you want your audience to go “ooooh” at.
✋ How to Talk with Your Hands
Let’s go through the basic moves—think of them like dance steps, but nerdier:
🟢 Neutral Mode (AKA Base Position & Mouse Control Mode)
This is your home base, and it's where the magic starts.
Hold your open hand, fingers relaxed, palm facing the webcam.
🖱️ Fun fact: When you’re in Neutral Mode, your hand becomes your virtual mouse.
Just gently move your hand side-to-side or up-and-down to move the cursor across the screen.
⚠️ Important: Keep your hand close to your face, like you're showing something to someone right in front of you.
Don’t go full wizard and wave your arm toward the camera—it actually makes the tracking worse. Subtle is smooth. Smooth is awesome.
👉 Next Slide
Wanna move forward?
Just tap your imaginary left mouse button:
-
From neutral, lower and raise your index finger (like you’re clicking in midair).
Clean and simple. Click! Slide! Victory!
✊ Previous Slide
Oops, went too far? Time to rewind:
-
While keeping your hand close to your face, form a gentle fist (all fingers tucked in, palm still facing the camera), then return to neutral.
-
No need to punch the air—just a quick close and relax does the trick.
🎯 Enter Highlight Mode
Time to show off. Activate your laser pointer like this:
-
From neutral, retract your ring finger and pinkie, while keeping thumb, index, and middle fingers extended.
-
It’s like a soft Spidey pose 🕷️
-
A glowing green dot should appear—congrats, you’re now a laser-pointer Jedi.
🟩 Draw a Perfect Rectangle
Because circles are for amateurs.
-
While in Highlight Mode, point with just your index finger and “draw” a shape around your point of interest (like tracing on a foggy window).
Return to neutral, and bam! A clean, perfect rectangle appears. You're a slide surgeon now.
❌ Undo That Rectangle
Need a redo? No sweat.
-
From Highlight Mode, make that gentle fist again and return to neutral.
It’ll erase the last rectangle. Poof.
🔁 Exit Highlight Mode
Done being a highlight hero?
-
Just repeat the "Spidey pose" (retract ring + pinkie, extend the rest).
-
Welcome back to Presentation Mode.
⏱️ Timing is Everything, Baby
DGW_Mouse watches for gesture changes, and it expects them at a specific rhythm—like a good double-click. Too slow? Missed. Too fast? Confused.
To keep things silky smooth, enter the Practice Playground:

⌛ Takes just a few minutes to master
Trust us—this tiny bit of practice will make you look like a total pro when it counts.
🎉 That’s It!
You’re now officially a gesture-powered presentation ninja. Go stun your audience, teach with flair, or pitch like a boss—all without ever touching a mouse.
And remember: It’s not magic. It’s DGW_Mouse.
Now go wave your hand like you mean it (but, you know, gently). 💪🖐️💻
